What is dia de los reyes?

Dia de Los Reyes (also known as Three Kings' Day or Epiphany) is a Christian holiday that is celebrated on January 6th every year. It marks the end of the Christmas holiday season and commemorates the visit of the three wise men or Magi, to the baby Jesus in Bethlehem.

Traditionally, children in many Hispanic countries receive gifts from the Magi on this day rather than from Santa Claus on Christmas day. In some places, children leave shoes out on the eve of Three Kings' Day and wake up to find them filled with presents.

In addition to gift-giving, people celebrate Dia de Los Reyes by sharing special foods, such as Rosca de Reyes (a sweet bread with a hidden figurine inside) and drinking hot chocolate. In some communities, a parade is held to honor the Magi and to distribute candies and toys to children.

Overall, Dia de Los Reyes is a meaningful and joyous celebration for millions of people around the world who observe this festive occasion.
